This week we started our research projects on the Woolshed Creek tramp and some of us finished a movie on our tramp. Check out the tramping Page for some great movies.
On the subject of movies. last week I went to see Beyond the Edge a documentary style movie on Sir Edmond Hillary climbing Mt Everest. It is a fantastic story about our most famous tramper and suitable for the students.
The Methven Cinema have offered us a deal of $8.00 per child on the 17th december during school time. We will think of some fund raising ideas to cover this. There will be room for about 6 adults if any body wants to come.
Be careful with bow and arrows and don't forget if it doesn't work try again. Brian in Hatchet took days to build his first bow.
