Wild foods feast

Thursday 16th of march was our wild foods day.
We raised about $400 by selling wraps and sample platters.
The animals we ate were all introduced and pests also they eat native plants so we ate them.
Some of the animals we ate were rabbit, hare, duck and venison.
We are buying traps and native plants for fellow wetlands.
There were lots of customers.
The students enjoyed putting it together.
We would like to thank the school community for the game, vegetables and for dressing their children in camo gear and waiter/waitress costumes.
Thanks for coming along. By Z.G, T.T,W.E

  19. wow looks like wild foods day went really really well....congratulations on the funds you all raised.
So now we all know how to cook and raise good funds and heaps of other things, if your teacher was to write a whole paragraph about wild foods and the wetlands would all you cleaver kids know where to put speech marks, comma's, brackets and any other puncution grammar in the correct rightful place?,. "your teacher would mark"......that would tell me that you really have taken everything about the topic.....! I know one little girl who on a number of occassions talked me thru lessons on the wetlands....been great to see the whole class effort in on the lesson. WELL DONE KIDS :)
